Intense…and totally gorgeous!

Her owners brief was to capture her weird and quirky yet very serious personality. A few photos were sent through and I felt I had the right idea about how to create this majestic gal on paper.

The other grey cat in the photos was my next door neighbour who was intrigued by the drawing…she thought it was real and tried to sniff her!

This sweet dog was the lynchpin for knitting a family together. The only photo I had was the one you see in the photo and it was challenge but I captured her spirit.

The detail in the drawing is amazing. When I first saw it I couldn't hold back the tears. Honey is a real sweetheart of a hound! She’s a beach dog and hangs out at Brunswick Heads nearly everyday with her owner and calmly waits by your towel when you take a dip in the ocean!

I dog-sat her for a month and totally fell in love with this gentle giant.
